REIMS BACSTEL-IP System (BIPS) - 1 Day
This one-day course provides a step-by-step guide for system administrators/expert users to ensure the successful implementation and deployment of the REIMS BIPS system within an organisation.
Each delegate will look at:
Analysis and validation of business requirements for payment processing across an organisation (e.g. accounts payable, payroll, direct debits and credits)
Practical implementation methodology for BACSTEL-IP through implementation to user training and live BACSTEL-IP status
The configuration and administration of REIMS BIPS (including adding users, payment applications and remote client users)
The design and configuration of payment authorisation processes
Security: installation and configuration of HSM/Smart Card processes and procedures.
REIMS Secure Commerce Gateway - OIS Module - 3 Days
The course is aimed at REIMS users who have a requirement to use the REIMS Open Integration Server (OIS) to enable the integration of data in differing formats and from multiple disparate sources.
Each delegate will learn, in a practical way, how to integrate data in the following formats:
XML files
Multiple Record Type flat files
Data held in a REIMS OTS Audit system
Data held in a JMS (Java Messaging Service) queue
CSV files
Data held on databases
Data held in a REIMS OTR transaction queue.
Each delegate will also learn how to:
Set up data adaptors for different file formats
Set up connectors for different data source types
Work with the mapping, procedural and script level views of the mapping process
Debug OI Scripts
Deploy and use an OI package in an ECL script
Generate eXtensible Stylesheet Language scripts for transforming XML files
The course is aimed at users of REIMS Open Transaction Server (OTS) who have a requirement to set up XML exchanges with one or more of their trading partners.
Upon completion of the training, delegates will be able to configure and maintain their REIMS OTS system for the automated exchange of XML business documents with their trading community.
Each delegate will learn, in a practical way, how to:
Use the XML Schema Maintenance functions in the REIMS product to create, maintain, import and export DTDs and XML Schemas
Use the XML Schema Maintenance functions to create XML Vocabulary files and URI Redirection files
Use the XML Schema Mapping functions to create Schema-to-Schema mapping sets and generate XSL transformation scripts from them
Use the XML Schema Mapping functions to resolve mapping errors revealed during the script generation process
Define the use of specific XML Envelope Formats for the transport of XML documents
Create XML Interchange Definitions to control the conversion of data to and from XML format
Use the Audit and Trace information to investigate and resolve error conditions in the XML conversion process.
The course is aimed at REIMS users who now find a requirement to use AS2 for the exchange of EDI or XML files, or to use the frameworks defined in the ebXML and RosettaNet standards.
Upon completion of the training, delegates will be able to configure and maintain the system for the secure and reliable automated exchange of EDI, XML or other business document formats, using these frameworks.
Each delegate will gain an understanding of:
The purpose and scope of AS2 and B2Bi frameworks
The open communications protocols available for the exchange of EDI and XML messages
The XML, MIME and SOAP components of frameworks
The security aspects of frameworks in terms of encryption, digital signatures and certificates
The REIMS Crypto Server security functionality
The configuration of REIMS to operate through a firewall.
Each delegate will learn, in a practical way, how to:
Configure the system to use HTTP and SMTP communications protocols
Create EDI and XML interchange definitions that define the appropriate AS2 framework parameters and processing
Investigate and resolve errors in communications and conversion processing.
